| Educational Requirements: | Minimum of BS in engineering, biology, geology or environmental science preferred; 10 years with a MS, or 10+ years with a BS and specific experience in environmental consulting. Professional certifications expected. Progress toward appropriate professional certification is required. Must be proficient in Microsoft Office applications: Excel, Word and Power Point. Proficiency in Microsoft Project is a plus. |
A P3 manages and supports the existing AECRU contract and other environmental services contracts, and performs the following duties:

Prepares plans required for environmental site characterization including active and passive investigation. These types of plans include:

Work plans
-
Sampling and analysis plans
-
Quality assurance project plans
-
Data quality management plans
-
Health and safety plans
-
Accident prevention plans
-
Manages and performs field work as necessary including the oversight of well installations, soil borings, fencing and other temporary structures related to investigation and remediation activities

Manages and collects soil and groundwater samples according to prescribed methodologies and in accordance with the site-specific plans

Analyzes the results of laboratory data as it pertains to site characterization and recommends an action based on the results

Prepares reports that describe the results of site characterization

Site investigation reports
-
Remedial investigation reports
- Prepares decision document reports required under the Resource Conservation and Recovery Act (RCRA), the Comprehensive Environmental Response, Compensation and Liability Act (CERCLA) and the National Oil and Hazardous Substances Pollution Contingency Plan (NCP); and all regulatory guidance pertinent to these acts

Manages projects including project set-up, cost and budget control, sub-contractor management, client invoices and accounts receivable

Estimates costs and prepares proposals as requested

Procures subcontractors

Prepares project schedules
The P3 must maintain OSHA 40 hour HAZWOPER certification and any additional certification required by contract (such as supervisor and/or construction worker training).
